oikos Solar team

Who are we

oikos Solar is a student-led consulting initiative at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and part of the oikos St. Gallen network. Our vision is to accelerate the energy transition by creating tangible impact at the intersection of energy, policy, and business.

Initially, oikos Solar focused on the direct development of solar projects and successfully implemented two renewable energy installations. Through this hands-on experience, we gained valuable insights into the technical, regulatory, and stakeholder-related challenges of real-world energy projects.

Building on these learnings, we have shifted our focus towards energy and sustainability consulting as well as educational events. Today, we support public institutions, startups, and corporates with strategic, policy-driven consulting services and create platforms for exchange between students, founders, and industry experts.
